Digital Media Developer

Stafffinders are currently looking for a Digital Media Developer based in Paisley.

The suitable candidate will be creating interactive HTML5 games and activities for use within online learning modules and mobile arena.

Duties include:

Implementing games & activities designed by the instructional designers and content creators.

Creating & editing online applications using XHTML/CSS/JavaScript

Taking wireframes and turning them into standard-compliant code

Keep up to date with new research, theories, best practices and methodologies in use experience design & usability

Testing prototypes, and/or end products

Collaborating with engineers, researchers, and business counterparts alike

The Ideal candidate should have:

2 Years or more front end development experience

Advanced knowledge of XHTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript Articulate / Storyline / Captivate experience

Flash Experience

Strong understanding of current trends in web design

Knowledge of design & performance best practices for the web

Ability to keep several projects moving ahead simultaneously with minimal supervision

Skill at cross-browser/mobile compatibility troubleshooting

Excellent written & spoken English

Photoshop/InDesign experience

Previous experience building online games would be ideal

Clear digital passion
