They are in a period of rapid growth and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing professional to join their team.

The Marketing Systems Manager is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to define the mechanisms needed to deliver revenue-generating results. This includes identifying processes, designing workflows, and configuring settings to help sales, marketing, and other departments cohesively deliver a consistent pipeline. They are responsible for leveraging marketing automation and CRM systems to their fullest potential, either by designing and implementing settings or coaching others on how to use these platforms to their full potential.

This person will be responsible for coordinating all system-related day-to-day activities that automate our sales and marketing programs. You will coordinate or build the settings for campaigns that turn customer responses into leads. You will be defining, coordinating, and configuring all the settings that ensure that flow leads into standard CRM steps for generating closed/won opportunities. The Marketing Systems Manager will take the lead in reporting on Marketing activity, allowing the business to monetise activity.

This is a full-time role, primarily based at our office in Redbourn, Herts. Occasional UK travel will be required.

Key responsibilities:-

  • Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing to support the creation and delivery of the strategic marketing plan across SCG
  • Your primary focus will be on the development of our Marketing systems, maximising our digital efficiency and reporting
  • You will hold a high-profile position of responsibility within our rapidly growing organisation and will be a key part of some exciting company developments
  • Develop and lead the strategy and execution to drive customer and channel partner acquisition, while increasing engagement and retention
  • Oversee the introduction of a solid lead flow programme, working closely with the Sales team on developing an aligned approach
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of campaigns and partner channel strategy across SEO, SEM, Social, email, website, paid digital and all other relevant channels
  • Ensure the delivery of streamlined digital marketing operations that are well communicated across the business to deliver rapid GTM execution
  • Deliver regular reports for relevant stakeholders on activity. You will be fully responsible for the tracking and measurement of digital activities, including detailed success metrics
  • Working with all areas of the business to support integrations for new companies joining SCG (onboarding, moving websites to our management, social media alignment)

Desired skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience within a similar role in a B2B environment, ideally within a business that has gone through a transformation or has grown at a fast pace
  • Experience in working with Agencies would be a distinct advantage
  • A working knowledge of WordPress is preferable
  • A proven track record of Lead Generation and Management (via a platform such as HubSpot/Salesforce/Dynamics) is ideal:
    • Creating workflows
    • Creating and processing email flows
    • Campaign creation and management

  • Other platform experience that would be valuable:
    •  Lead Forensics
    • Eshot
    • Mailchimp

  • Vertical Marketing experience would also be an advantage
  • Strong copywriting and editing capabilities are essential
  • Analytics – you will have the ability to breakdown and interpret data and make timely and considered recommendations based on the information at hand
  • Leadership – you will be comfortable leading from the front, looking for creative ways to help us achieve our business goals
  • Obsessed with data, measuring marketing impact, and ensuring that it is demonstrable at a senior level. You will know what a great marketing dashboard looks like and what data is required to deliver that insight
  • Experienced in strategic CRM/Automation Management and campaign implementation including growing email lists and segmentation so that you can advise and support your direct reports in this space
  • From a strong B2B background and have a rock-solid foundation in all digital aspects including email, SEO, PPC, Social, Website as well as a wide range of technology solutions

You must have strategic and critical thinking skills; the ability to see the “big picture” while also diving into details.
