True Royalty TV (TRTV) is the first and only subscription video on demand (SVOD) platform dedicated to the subject of royalty. It was launched in June 2018 across six markets: the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
TRTV has grown quickly from POC/MVP to a becoming a household name in the U.S.A. within the past year alone. We need to keep evolving rapidly on that foundation.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.

Salary:
£16,000 per annum.

The role / duties: 

  • You will work with content acquisition and production teams to ensure catalogue integrity in our Delta system (media asset management) based on the content grid (i.e. rights, categorisation, tagging, metadata formats, export management)
  • This will then extend into ensuring consistent end-point publishing and curation (on our B2B and D2C distribution channels)
  • Finally, you will then feed a wider ecosystem: preparing briefing documents for use by partners, editors and marketing teams, as well as feeding channels such as YouTube, PR screening rooms, and more

What we are looking for:

  • Able to socialise and work with a range of personalities
  • Strong communication skills

Personal qualities:

  • English as a first language – spoken and written
  • A big fan of the British Royal Family
  • Deep understanding of American culture

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
