Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

My client; a manufacturing company is seeking a Development Engineer to join their expanding team in Stourport 

The Development Engineer position; would suit a technically competent mechanical engineer with a focus on design and development.

The Role of the Development Engineer

• Responsible for the development of new products and maintaining the designs, drawings and product documentation of existing group products.
• Ensuring adherence to legal compliance of machinery and associated adherence to health and safety legislation
• The Development Engineer will be involved in the building and testing of new designs and prototypes as development projects require.

The Candidate

• You will be experienced in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks,
• Competent in design and development and able to produce drawings and models of both existing and new products.
• The successful applicant for the role of Development Manager will be creative, able to develop design specifications and sign off / review designs for manufacture
• Experience in developing new skills and contributing concept ideas for new products, also building and testing new products.
• Any hands on, practical assembly experience would be advantageous to have appreciation for the production processes
• A positive attitude with a willingness to progress and grow with the company
