Design Engineer

Salary: £39,600 – £44,400 per year

We require an Electrical design engineer for our specialist and growing engineering company to assist with the production of new designs and modify and update existing designs by producing accurate technical drawings

The successful candidate will Undertake design work on contracts based on analysis of specifications, producing accurate drawings and liaising with production, purchasing and sales where necessary.

• Knowledge in a wide range of areas including 3D design, electronics and PLC programming.
• The role will suit candidates from a design background, with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering (or equivalent).
• You will need experience using 3D AutoCAD or Solidworks and any additional knowledge of electronics or PLCs would be advantageous, however PLC programming training can be provided.
• The successful candidate will be predominately involved in the mechanical design of vehicles however the role will also involve electrical design the candidate will be responsible for using
• AutoCAD to produce technical drawings and schematics, for both new designs and new processes.
• You will be involved in testing the equipment and QA.
