Excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer with Mechanical or Electrical skills to join a rapidly growing successful company on a varied and very interesting project.

Through this period a lot of companies have struggled due to COVID-19 however this company have continued to thrive. Through an increase in contracts they are looking to add 2 design engineers to their projects team.

In this role you will be working in a busy R&D environment on an interesting clean mobility project in relation to battery powered vehicles and road rail plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will be a proven mechanical design engineer or electrical design engineer from Automotive, Rail, Aerospace or have experience with battery powered vehicles. Experience in traction or power transfer of hydrogen is beneficial.

The role:

*Part of a busy R&D workshop hands on environment

*Flexible working available, especially for contractors staying away from home etc.

*6-month contract with the possibility of being extended or going permanent

*£30ph to £37.50ph 40-hour week, outside IR35

*Working on a very interesting clean mobility project in relation to battery powered vehicles & road rail plant equipment

The person:

*Degree qualified, Engineering or similar

*Proven Mechanical Design Engineer or proven electrical design engineer

*Experience within Automotive, Rail, Aerospace or with battery powered vehicles

*Any experience in traction or power transfer of hydrogen beneficial
