If you are bored of sitting at a desk all day simply designing “off the shelf products” this is the role for you.

will be responsible for taking projects from initial concept, right through to completion and mass production. This includes dealing directly with the customer giving technical support, selecting an appropriate material (doing feasibility studies and data analysis), embodiment of the concept (designing and testing), doing the detailing (detailed drawings and modelling), and product specification through to manufacture and product and material testing.

You will need to have excellent experience in product and material testing. Specific materials could include engineered polymers, yarns, rubber, jointing, PTFE / Metal bonding, rubber, metals, or elastomers.
