Rate: £300 – £420 /day depending on experience.
My client, a leading main contractor in London has a requirement for a Design Manager to join their team. They are looking for a Design Manager who has a strong working knowledge of Commercial projects up to £20m in value.
Duties for Design Manager Role:
– Leading the full design and coordination process from Commercial Transfer to Practical completion of the project.
– Client interface
– Leading design audits
– Establishing key bids
– Writing proposals
– Agreeing scope and budgets
– Compile project execution plans
Skills and requirements need for Design Manager Role:
– Minimum of 5 years+ Design manager experience
– Experienced in client interface
– Experienced leader with good communication skills
The Project:
Scheme comprises demolition of warehouse and construction of a car dealership (four storey )(Housing new and used retail sales, workshop space including MOT testing bays, internal operational and non-operational parking/storage) plus rooftop vehicle storage and on-site external parking and servicing.
