Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £50,400 – £57,600 per year

Our client is a MEP engineering consultancy with expertise in the design of data centres. They have over 10 years of industry experience providing expert advice and engineering design services. Majority of our client’s project is within the data centre sector, but they are also growing their portfolio in other areas such as residential, commercial, leisure and education.

With offices in the UK, France and Dubai, our client employs around 70 people globally. They are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the office in Holborn. This opportunity is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Electrical Engineer will be Liaising with, and the engineering teams to ensure projects meet expectations within the set deadline.
• Running a portfolio of projects.
• The Electrical Design Engineer will be assisting with design development and calculations on high value projects.
• Accurately creating technical drawings in accordance with client briefs using relevant programmes.
• Responsible for undertaking electrical services design including lighting, small power, fire alarms, CCTV and security systems.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• 2 years+ and Building Services (MEP) background – either within a Consultancy.
• Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical engineering or Building Services.
• Knowledge of UK Standards and Specifications.
• Experience of working on major projects would be advantageous.
