Salary: £780 per day

Job Title: Delivery Manager

Day Rate: Up to £650 Inside IR35

Duration: 6 months

Location: Remote (Must have right to work in the UK)

About the role:

You will be working as the Delivery Manager for a well-known organisation within the public sector. You will be involved in a digital transformation programme looking to modernise the technology and ways of working of the organisation. There are multiple platform builds taking place to digitise internal documentation as well as provide a more user friendly experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Taking accountability for the agile delivery of complex, high impact platforms
• Managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
• Lead governance and delivery in a highly regulated environment
• Identify key dependencies across services and coordinate delivery actively across teams
• Ensure strong communication within teams when planning and measuring progress using agile methodologies
• Work with product and delivery managers to plan and coordinate sprints – constantly ensuring a high quality service

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong Agile Delivery experience
• of working within the public sector and strong understanding of Government Digital Standards (GDS)
• Experience managing cross functional teams
• Experience running digital transformation projects and operational platforms
• Strong stakeholder management experience with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deep understanding of the digital landscape and operating in devops environments
• Proven success delivering complex data platforms
• Cloud infrastructure experience
