Customer Service Advisor / Call Handler – London East

Salary: Starting at £26,000per year. Pay increases with service (up to £26,000 per year)

Job Type: Part Time/Full Time, Temporary (Possibility of becoming permanent)

Hours: 1pm-7pm Monday- Friday with occasional Saturdays. Please note the hours are non negotiable

Please note that if successful you will be required to attend a registration in Leatherhead immediately.

Our client, one of the UK’s leading parcel delivery company are looking to recruit a Temporary Customer Service Administrator for an ongoing temporary assignment.

We are looking for people who can be flexible in terms of hours as there may be occasions when overtime or weekend work are available

Please note that this is a busy industrial site and full PPE (high visibility vest and steel toe cap boots) must be worn at all times

APPLICANTS MUST COME FROM A CALL CENTRE BACKGROUND AND BE CONFIDENT IN PICKING UP THE PHONE AND DEALING WITH POTENTIAL COMPLAINTS

Job role & responsibilities
•Being the first point of contact for all enquiries coming into the depot
•Responding to questions & queries over the phone/ via email
•Front desk duties
•Picking orders/parcels from the warehouse
•Booking out parcels from missed deliveries
•Following up all enquiries within a timely manner
•All associated administration tasks, including typing, filing etc
•Booking parcels onto the system using in-house IT systems
•Providing 5* customer service at all times
•To deal with any customer complaints that may arrive in a professional and concise manner

Applicants Must:
•Be available to work any hours between 8am-8pm
•Have a minimum of 12 months administration experience
•Be able to provide excellent customer service at all times
•Have an excellent telephone manner with a polite and personable nature
•Have a good grasp of both verbal and written English
•Have excellent keyboard skills, accurate data entry skills and be proficient with Microsoft office packages
•Be confident in dealing with customers face-to-face
•be confident in complaint resolution
•Be able to lift parcels up to 30kg

Due to the nature of the role, the company requires an in depth security clearance check and 5 years of residency checked. Anyone who can not provide this information will automatically be rejected. The vetting process can take up to 4 weeks.
