Salary: £51,600 – £54,000 per year
Critical Data Centre Maintenance Shift Engineer – Facilities Maintenance – Bath.
Our agency is currently working in partnership with one of the worlds leading Facilities Maintenance and Property Management providers, globally. Due to recent contract wins/extensions, as well as internal transfers and promotions, they are actively recruiting for 4 x Critical Data Centre Maintenance Shift Engineers from either a Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC technical engineering background to manage the day-to-day M&E services located at a large Data Centre complex in Bath.
The successful candidate will look after the day-to-day engineering operation and Critical Data Centre services, as well as managing sub-contractors, and responsible for carrying out both HV and LV switching. The ideal candidate will come from a similar environment, with the motivation to progress into either a Supervisory or Managerial position.
Job Specification:
- Ensuring that routine PPMs are carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists
- PPM and reactive maintenance to power/temporary power, lighting/emergency lighting, sprinkler systems, fire alarm tests, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, air-conditioning plant, AHU’s, FCU’s, VAV’s, plumbing, filter systems, and fault-finding
- HV and LV switching/site shutdowns
- Organising subcontract labour
- Organising quotes and the labour/procurement of materials and parts
- Responsible for Health & Safety, logbooks, risk assessment, permits to work etc.
Salary & Package:
- £51,600 – £54,000 per annum + Overtime
- Continental shift pattern (days and nights)
- 20 days annual leave

The Person:
- BTEC/HND/HNC/ONC Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or City & Guilds 2360 parts 1 & 2/2367 part 1- & 2368-part 2/2330 levels 2 & 3/2357 levels 2 & 3/Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent
