JS legal Recruitment Ltd are excited to be working with friendly Boutique firm of solicitors based in Brentwood. Our client are a highly regarded legal firm providing a first class service to people and businesses throughout Essex, Greater London, the South East and East Anglia.

If you’re a Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Conveyancer with a passion for providing outstanding service to clients and want to enjoy a good work/life balance this position may appeal to you. You will be working within a team of three with secretarial support.

The role

• Handling your own caseload of property matters with minimum supervision
• Drafting and negotiating transfer of land, transfer of part and transfer of property
• Drafting new leases
• Raising enquiries on purchase transactions, dealing with enquiries on sale transactions and managing a case file from instruction and commencement to post completion
• Dealing with re-mortgages, equity release, transfer of equity
• Processing commons and village green applications
• Processing adverse possession claims
• Drafting and negotiating Deed of Covenants, Deed of Variation, Deed of Easement
• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases
• Completing and processing land registry applications and dealing with Requisitions
• Responding to client queries regarding Title or Lease terms
• Analysis Title and Highway plans

Experience Required

• Applications from qualified solicitors, Legal Executives or Conveyancers 1 yr. PQE Plus who want to thrive in a supportive and open door office are welcome. Those that fall outside this bracket will also be considered
• You will be organised, proactive and a team player
• Ability to achieve realistic monthly targets
• Enthusiasm for networking and practice development

• Statutory pension scheme, 20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
• Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
