CONTRACTS SUPERVISOR (Contracts Manager Designate)

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £32,400 – £42,000

The client supplies a wide range of sports construction and renovation services across the UK. Currently, they are seeking to employ a Contracts Supervisor to join their dedicated team.

Key Skills:
• Sound knowledge of CDM and H&S requirements in construction
• Contractual awareness particular JCT & NEC formats
• Practical understanding of general construction, earthworks and drainage operations
• Clean driving licence
• Managing staff and resources
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office applications
The candidate must be highly motivated and organised, with experience at working within the construction environment. Preferably, the candidate shall have previous experiences to a similar level within the same or similar industry. The candidate will need to be comfortable with both site and office environments and adapt at dealing with multiple projects. The foregoing should not be seen as an exhaustive list of duties, and the candidate must adopt a flexible and positive attitude to the varying work requirements.

The Role:
• Reporting to the Contracts Director the candidate will be responsible for managing delivery of contracts on a day to day basis liaising with site operators, foreman and the office based management team
• Communicate with clients and suppliers
• Develop project programmes and record resource allocations
• Compile and maintain site H&S files
• Organise labour resources, materials and plant
• Assist the commercial team with cost capture, month end valuations and contract reporting
