Our client, a leading waste management operator, is looking to recruit an experienced manager to manage a green, food, bulky and wood waste Transfer Station contract in the South East. This includes managing service delivery to the council, maintaining compliance with key performance indicators and being the first point of contact for the client in all aspects of the service delivery; Ensuring corporate targets are met, especially in terms of HSEQ, profitability, cost tracking, recycling and customer service.

Candidate requirements:

* At least 5 years’ experience in a waste operations at management level.

* Hold the relevant CoTC(s) or be committed to achieving within the first 12 months of being in post.

* Experience of a professional and disciplined approach to management, working alongside operational teams ensuring performance expectations, service standards and people development are met.

* Demonstrable skills in ensuring customer and stakeholder’s needs are met, developing and maintaining productive relationships.

* Evidence of the ability to identify and implement change programmes that have a positive impact on operational and business requirements.

* Loading shovel / telehandler licence desirable.
