Role: Contracts Manager / Senior Project Manager – Water
Location: Glasgow
Rate: £72,000 per day Contract
Salary: Up to £72,000+ Benefits

My client is a large M&E and Civil Engineering contractor working across water sector looking for a Contracts Manager / Senior Project Manager to work on Water projects in Scotland.
The role will include managing multiple projects/contracts from start to finish.
My Client is looking for a professionally qualified Project/Contracts Managers with extensive UK experience working on water frameworks across the UK.

On offer is a very competitive rate which is reliant on previous experience but could range between £72,000per day or a salary of up to £60k + Benefits

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

·Ensuring that the teams deliver the programme in accordance with current best practice construction techniques on time and to budget.
·To develop, plan, design and construct projects to appropriate levels of quality, cost and programme adherence.
·To ensure all work is in accordance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
·To develop staff and team skill sets
·All day-to-day staff management issues.
·Other staff issues via personnel/manager.
·Procurement authority for capital jobs.
·Manage and deliver annual budget for allocated schemes.
·Raise invoices for additional work as required.
Experience:
·Experienced in M&E water specifically MEICA delivery
·Must have some form of background / knowledge of water civils
·Commercial understanding of projects. This position will be working with NEC forms of contracts
·Degree Qualified in Civil or M&E Engineering
·Relevant experience at a senior team management team level.
·Good communicator with excellent interpersonal and man-management skills.
·Able to introduce and develop new ideas to ensure good departmental practice.
·A keen, committed and tenacious individual.
