Contract Design Draughtsman

Parker White are currently seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman skilled in the use of AutoCAD to undertake a 6 month contract position within a Newcastle Under Lime Materials Handling Company.

My client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of large scale steel fabrications for the Mining, Construction and agricultural industries amongst others. Products in their range include Steel Staircases and Walkways, Heavy Duty Rubble and Debris Chutes, Conveyors, Vibratory Equipment, Crushers, screeners and steel silos. Due to a recent increase in business they are looking to expand their existing design resources with up to 4 capable design Draughtsmen.

Successful candidates will have a proven background in materials handling and proven skills as a design draughtsman with AutoCAD.

Contracts will be written on an initial 6 Month basis at an hourly rat of £24 – £30 ph depending on skills and experience.
