Graduate or Junior Design / CAD Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior CAD Design Engineer to join our highly successful client’s design team in a trainee position, where they will enhance their current skills, and learn new ones necessary to progress to a position of Senior Design Engineer.

The primary duty will be the draughting of 2D CAD drawings for use in the civil engineering industry (both residential and commercial buildings), using a bespoke package designed specifically for our clients requirements. In addition to that, you will also be interfacing with the Senior Design Engineers on a regular basis, as well as Clients to ensure their requirements are fully understood and satisfied.

As well as a competitive base salary, a performance based bonus is also available, in addition to the opportunity to progress and learn the additional skills required to reach a senior position. The working hours are 40 hours a week, but are part-flexible to suit.

The successful candidate will have a confident and professional approach, but most importantly have experience of 2D CAD software (preferably in building design)
