Construction / Project Manager – Facades and rainscreen, glazing

£54,000 per annum

Working from home and on site when required

Location flexible but ideally north of england 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all works on site are executed in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Work closely with the PM and evaluate all outstanding works on site and produce a close out tracker to monitor works completed.
• Evaluate material requirements and coordinate with the PM to get materials to site and installed.
• Produce a programme to complete the works.
• Produce a comprehensive daily diary and upload them to the company drive for senior manager review. Ensuring that photographs are included.
• Attend daily site coordination meetings with the main contractor.
• Liaise directly with sub-contractor labour, to coordinate works ensuring that the programme to complete is maintained.
• Be the initial point of contact on site for the main contractor.
• Plan and achieve the project handover via the field view system
• Programme and execute any snagging works as a result of handovers.
• Oversee new installation works
• Provide weekly progress reports to the PM.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near miss in conjunction with the company Directors, H&S Manager, Department Heads and Sub contractors Supervisors to identify causes and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
• Shall at all times comply with the Highway Code and drive with all due care and attention having consideration at all times to the proximity of pedestrians and other road users.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Cards are essential
• The ideal candidate will be willing to travel as part of the role across designated regions.

• Good communication skill and has the ability to converse with a variety of audiences.
• Fully conversant with MS Office, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience of dealing with Field View handover system is desirable but not essential.

• Previous experience with specialist sub-contractor – Facades / Rainscreens / Louvres/ Glazing and preferably gained experience with Tier 1 MC sites.
• Experience with lifting activities.
• Ability to multitask and manage a number of projects simultaneously running at the same time.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
