Construction Project Delivery Programme Manager

Position Description:
As a Construction Project delivery Programme Manager / Leader, you will manage all aspects of a given, new builds / project refurbishment, across Gaydon & Whitley. You will need to be customer focused delivering projects to cost, quality and timing, managing customer expectations, reporting out at director level and manage any conflict along the way. A further task would be to define and record best practice through standards / standardisation meetings for the wider teams.
The successful candidate should have/be:-

Not afraid to report out to senior management

Skills Required:
KEY SKILLS – MUST HAVE
Buildings construction programme management delivery experience.
Building materials / methods of construction.
Financial awareness, cost management.

Experience Required:
A Construction Projects Delivery Manager / Leader should have the experience (min. 5 years) to manage all types of projects and sub-contractors. You will need have an understanding of timing, cost & quality control. A further understanding of design drawings and use 2D AutoCAD along with Microsoft Office suite is essential.

Experience Preferred:
Civil / Mechanical & Electrical engineering or related subject degree. Knowledge of the planning and construction management process, as well as knowledge of construction materials and methods along with supervisory practise and principles. Must be proactive in ensuring all Health & Safety regs (CDM) are met and have a proven track record re robust on time, on cost quality DELIVERY.

Additional Information:
the role requires the successful candidate may need to travel between the two main sites of Whitley and Gaydon with additional support at off site locations as and when required.
