Construction Manager

I’m currently recruiting a Construction Manager for my client who are a property partner within the Healthcare and Social Housing sector.

You key responsibilities will be:

To have full responsibility for the pre-construction, and construction management of allocated projects.

To liaise with the client, or their appointed representative throughout all stages of the project, and ensure that a good working relationship is maintained at all times.

To be responsible for and liaise with the Pre-Construction Managers outputs during design stage to ensure the design takes account of buildability, value engineering, compliance with the specification, and adherence to budget.

In order to be considered for this role you will require:

Ideally experience as a PM on the client side.

Strong leadership and management skills, proven ability in managing multi-disciplinary site teams in compliance with good practice and procedures.

Proven ability in completing construction projects on time and within budget.

Experience of multiple multi-million pound projects at same time.

Hold a recognised professional building qualification

Very good knowledge of construction technology and building finishes.

A strong understanding of JCT standard forms of contract, and diligent in ensuring contracts are properly administered.

Meticulous in record keeping to ensure robust audit trail.

Proficient in the use of planning software for analysis and baseline tracking of critical path programmes for float, free float, and delay.

Willing and able to travel to multiple regional site locations.
