Compliance Technician

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year

Compliance Technician, Scunthorpe, £21,000 – £25,000 DOE, potential bonus, 24 days holiday.

Our client is a hugely successful company steeped in history and who have an excellent reputation for quality. They are now looking to appoint a Compliance Technician to work within the manufacturing and laboratory facility. This role does not require experience and would not only suit an individual with quality, compliance or lab experience such as Lab Technician, but would also suit an Administrator or someone who has worked in a detailed or technical role. The role will also involve working with customers therefore the ability to communicate well is essential.

The role of Compliance Technician will be one which could progress. Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Selecting and despatch of materials for testing and recording of results
• Undertaking internal lab testing and recording of results
• Selecting and despatching of materials for external compliance testing
• Reviewing and recording all external & internal certification and report any non-conformities
• Providing test reports and complete compliance documentation for customers
• Maintenance and updating of product webpages on customer web sites / portals
• Supporting various other compliance requirements such as client auditing

• Would suit an experienced Laboratory Technician or an individual looking to make an impact in an important and compliance led area of the company such as a technical Administrator or Quality Controller
