Fire, Health & Safety Compliance Assistant
V-Recruit are currently recruiting for a Fire, Health & Safety Compliance Assistant to start work in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire as soon as possible.
Our client are a property and facilities management specialist, who are looking for an experienced and organised Fire, Health & Safety Compliance Assistant to join their growing team. They have a forward-thinking approach, with both staff and client satisfaction and welfare at the heart of everything they do.
Overall Purpose of the role
Initially focusing on freehold properties and fire risk assessments, you will add value across the team by ensuring standards of safety and regulatory compliance are upheld and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Arranging for Fire Risk Assessments to be carried out on freehold properties where applicable
- Working in line with the company fire policy and the risk assessment to arrange for remedial works to be carried out
- Ensuring that we are working in line with our fire policy to arrange for monthly, 6 months and annual checks to be carried out to ensure compliance is maintained
- Adhering to our freehold process set up a management plan for each current freehold and all new freeholds going forward
- Assisting with general maintenance enquiries
- Overall management of our freehold properties
Job Specifics
Salary: £20,800 – £22,980
This is a full time, permanent role, starting as soon as possible following interview and vetting
Working hours are Monday to Friday, generally office hours, although some flexibility may be required

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience of completing fire risk assessments and health & safety assessments with freehold properties and an understanding of Residential Block Management
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A proven ability to resolve customer disputes in a calm, empathetic way
- Excellent time management skills, including prioritising workloads
- A team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Previous work experience of working with contractors would be advantageous
