This company acts as Network Principal for mortgage and protection brokers within England, Scotland and Wales (currently there are no members in Northern Ireland). The company provides business support and compliance services to member companies.
Management information is collated centrally at MSN’s office in Syston, Leicestershire.

Vacancies have arisen due to expansion and the job description is below. Please note they are looking for a full-time office based Compliance officer and a full-time office and field based Compliance Officer.

Job Description

The main responsibilities being any combination of the following;

1.Field visits – ensuring members fully understand and adhere to company procedures and requirements. Documenting details of meetings in reports. Due to the wide geographical spread of members, the role will involve an overnight stay typically two or three times per month.
2.File checking – electronic & paper based, both office based and during field visits.
3.Handling telephone enquiries & covering a share of the general office workload (e.g. general enquiries from members, commission queries, enquiries from prospective new network members).
4.Any special projects, investigations etc. as required.
5.Specialist Areas: (usually one or two per role)
a.Role-play testing of new members as part of the induction process.

d.Telephone assessments of advisor knowledge
e.Collation of MI
f.New AR/Advisor application processing

Personal Qualities

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and will have mortgage, protection and general insurance knowledge and experience, typically gained within a broker environment. Previous experience within a compliance role would be preferred, but is not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. A full driving licence is required.

The office based role pays up to £26,000 – £33,600 per year, and the field based role pays up to £26,000 – £33,600 per year plus car allowance and business mileage
