Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
5s recruitment are recruiting for a Compliance Manager for a expanding manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility for ensuring present legislation is adhered to for all engineering, parts and processes. Ensure compliance for all parts imported and exported to UK maintaining the correct compliance documentation is provided on completed components and vehicles. Compile Self-Certification documentation and any sign-off reports to ensure that any homologation documentation is traceable. Liaise with CAD department to ensure engineering drawings comply to ECWVTA Approval. Liaise with National and International Government bodies (VCA). Provide legislation support to Sales / Design Depts. – interpretations, evaluations etc. Provide detailed forthcoming legislation implementation plans. Supervision of all manufacturing Warranty claims in line with ISO Standards. Ensure production processes meet ISO Standards.
Competency
A minimum of 3 years of experience within a compliance role ideally within electrical automotive.
Demonstrated experience in the Conformity of Production area.
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills to both internal and external clients.
Engineering Drawing understanding is preferred.
