Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
Our client is a forward-looking organisation with a fast-growing client service team to support their delivery of apprenticeship and commercial training in Reading and Southampton. A tuition provider providing training to some of the best accountancy firms in the region as well as supporting the development of finance teams in firms of all sizes.
About the role:
The purpose of the role is to develop, manage and deliver effective data, contracts, reporting and compliance for our apprenticeship provision. You will be responsible for managing Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) compliance, maintaining ILR data, using data and creating related management reports to enable accurate forecasting and monitoring of risks ensuring the company remains audit and inspection ready at all times. You will be responsible for the line management of an administrator.
Areas of responsibility:
To support the Operations Director in ensuring that we are compliant with Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) apprenticeship regulations and provision remains audit and inspection ready at all times.
Ensuring that all aspects of the learner journey meet the requirements of the ESFA funding rules working with the client relationship managers and the skills coach team.
Working with the director of quality to contribute to the implementation of a thorough internal audit process.
Prepare a monthly audit and compliance update report for submission to the Board of Directors.
About you:
Possess a passion for compliance, be detail orientated and with the tenacity to see issues through to resolution.
Be comfortable in an office environment and able to communicate compliance requirements effectively.
Confident using Excel with experience of analysing and presenting data in comprehensive way.
Able to work under pressure and to work closely with the wider team when needed.
You will have a good understanding of the ESFA funding rules but you will be supported by the FI central hub and can build on your skills on the job.
Previous management experience is not essential but would be preferred.
