Community Liaison Officer (Hampshire & Wiltshire)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,400 per year

Giganet’s community liaison team are growing! We are looking for someone to join us in this varied and exciting role to be based in and around the Devizes, Marlborough and Tadley area.

At Giganet the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) is the face of our business in communities where we are delivering full fibre build programmes. Our growing business is recruiting for someone in the Wiltshire area who can closely liaise with customers and communities in Devises, Marlborough and Tadley.

In this role you will act as Giganet’s “brand ambassador”, being the community facing representative on the ground, adding the personal touch to our customer care.

Your days will be varied, tasks will include:

• Be a pro-active member of the team as we deliver a range of Community Engagement Events, in Parish Halls, Community Hight Streets, Markets, Fayres or Council Events.
• Gather useful on-the-ground feedback and intelligence in regards to the product, using information from door to door street activity and inform residents of the value in Registering their Interest on the Giganet website.
• Establish, foster, and build constructive relationships with the Giganet build teams, which are sub-contractors working for Giganet during the build phase and Giganet employees working in the field in your locations.
• Undertake first—responder activity within the community for incidents, issues or complaints associated with build work. Work with the relevant internal teams to escalate these issues, and resolve to a satisfactory conclusion as quickly as possible.
• Work with Sales and Marketing and other relevant teams to ensure effective promotional activity is delivered throughout our build programme, with your involvement for useful copy and phone photography as appropriate.

This role is suitable for someone who lives local to the build locations and who has experience of developing strong relationships with customer and or communities in person and / or via social channels. You will need to be a confident communicator, with the ability to reassure and resolve challenging conversations. As CLO at Giganet you will need to be willing and able to manage resident issues and concerns to find satisfactory outcomes.
