Communications & Marketing Officer

Excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our client, a leading Housing Association based in south east london, Croydon.

Currently looking for an experienced Communications and Marketing Officer to join the Community Investment team on a fixed term / part-time basis. Taking responsibility for specific communication strategy objectives, you will assist with research, planning and development.
You will take a lead role in production of the Annual report to our residents.
Including, the design concept, artwork and develop an itinerary for the production.

You will also be responsible for the marketing elements of the role, which include press releases, website content management and the use of social media to increase brand awareness.
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role in a communications, PR or marketing function. You will have a keen eye for detail, an excellent command of the English language and a creative and imaginative approach. Excellent IT skills are essential for this post, including being fully competent in Microsoft Office applications. Experience of using content management systems would be an advantage.

Hours: 17.5 per week (Mon-Fri specific days and times to be discussed at interview/ agreed on appointment)
Contract: 3 months (starting end of April, finishing end of July)
Rate: £34,200 per annum pro rata equivalent (£14,250)
Based: Croydon Head Office
Start Date: Monday 20th April
