Connect Communications Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Officer at a social welfare charity. You would be responsible for building effective communications channels and relationships with key stakeholders. This is a 6 month fixed term contract. This role is a part time role, based in Surrey.

Key responsibilities will include:
Working with Communications Manager, to deliver the communications strategy and plan for the project
Provide appropriate communication advice and expertise, particularly on change management
Set, monitor and act upon evaluation criteria for all work
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the volunteer body including Trustees, project team, Regional and Branch Champions and Regional Directors

In order to apply you should have the following:

Experience of delivering a communications and change management strategy
Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation, working with Directors and CEO, to build and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders
A sound understanding of the role of communications in a large, volunteer-led federated organisation
Some experience of change management programmes
Some project management experience
Further communications or change management qualifications are desirable
