Commissioning Engineer urgently required for a UK based engineering company who specialise in the design and supply of leading safety and environmental technologies to the world maritime market.

Reporting to the Lead Commissioning Engineer, your main function is to undertake the site installation and commissioning of systems and equipment for water treatment/systems globally located in shipyards, dry docks and on seagoing vessels. You will be the vendor representative onsite and ensure that deadlines and requirements are met as well as legislation and budgets are adhered to. During the design phase, you may be part of the multi-disciplined engineering team and will conduct/document site surveys. Key responsibilities include:
h Responsible for the successful site installation and commissioning of systems and equipment
h Management of KPI’s
h Data collection and presentation
h Development of the commissioning process

To be considered for this position it is considered essential for you to have a proven track record in commissioning high value engineering projects in a process industry as well as teamwork skills. You will have proven experience in a direct customer facing role and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team or individually as needed. Problem solving abilities and electrical, control & instrumentation and PLC experience is essential.
