Commercial Manager – New Build Housing Developments

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Manager to work with and support the Commercial Director with the day to day running of the Business.

Salary:
£96,000 – £102,000Basic + Car + Package

Role Description
Due to the continued impressive growth the national main contractor is now in need of a Commercial Manager. The client predominately operates in the Affordable Housing and Community Healthcare markets.

This is a senior appointment and it is expected that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 year’s experience in a commercial role; at least 5 years of this in a senior commercial capacity.

You will have direct line management responsibility for Commercial Managers, Senior Surveyors and Project Surveyors and overall operational responsibility for the commercial team from Trainee up to Commercial Manager level. Experience of managing and developing a commercial team is essential.

You will report to the Commercial Director.

Background / Qualifications
* You background should include working with a national main contractor with in the Housing sector.
* You must have BSc in Surveying
* You must have experience of working for contractors in the region.
* It will be desirable if you have a Membership of a recognised construction body (MCIOB, RICS)
