Combat System Engineer

To provide specialist maintenance support for the Shore Integration Facility (SIF) at Portsdown Technology Park for Combat Systems Equipment (CSE).

Specific responsibilities for which the post holder has a requirement to deliver:

To deliver specialist maintenance support for the SIF, specifically for current and future CSE as/to be fitted to Royal Navy (RN) platforms.

Responsibility for the readiness of the specialist CSE under their charge to ensure the requirements of the MoD contract can be delivered on a daily basis.

Maintaining specialist maintenance routines and keeping the equipment at a high state of efficiency at all times unless undergoing maintenance down time as allowed under the normal working practices of the SIF.

You need to be IT literate, well organised and capable of maintaining schedules to provide delivery of contacted equipment readiness. You will be a very good team player whilst being a trusted independent worker, flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and be able deliver a complete record keeping process.
