Collections Advisor – Oldham (Rent Arrears Specialist) – £14.66 per hour – Ongoing long term temporary role:

The role:

This is a great opportunity working for a leading housing organisation based in Oldham, working in their customer service and debt recovery department. As a Collections Advisor we are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. This role is phone and email based, therefore, you will need to be an excellent communicator over the phone and in writing. This role is a complex and varied role, providing a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their customer service skills further in a fast paced environment. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

* Providing customers with prompt, professional and accurate information and advice in relation to their rent enquiries
* Working in a blended contact centre role, which is 60% inbound and 40% outbound
* Agreeing collection of outstanding monies of accounts in arrears
* Providing expert advice to customers
* Logging all information accurately on the in-house system
* Responding to customer queries via email

The shifts are working 5 days out of 7, between 8am -8pm Mon – Saturday on a rota basis so flexibility is required.

Pay is £14.66 per hour,

For the position of Collections Advisor we are looking for the following experience:

* Proven experience of providing excellent customer service
* Experience of working in debt recovery and knowledge of welfare benefits
* Proven experience of dealing with customers sensitively in difficult situations
* Experience of working in the housing industry
