CNC Miller Machine Operator

Consilium Group is currently representing a globally recognised machining organisation, who manufacture high precision EDM components for the aerospace industry. Due to being in growth mode an opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join the ever expanding engineering team.

Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Dudley, Oldbury

Salary £14.4 – £16.8per hour (this is a permanent position, paid on an hourly-the hourly rate is dependent on experience)

The Role

The key responsibilities include working with CNC Milling Machines, supporting and maintaining CNC machines, assisting with tooling changes and general production engineering responsibilities.

The Person

You will be working within a high pressure machining environment, meeting deadlines and using your initiative to overcome problems resolving production issues. Under certain circumstances overtime and extra hours may be required to complete the task at hand and keeps production flowing.
Applicants must be conversant within CNC machining for aerospace, defence or automotive sectors and possess relevant experience within CNC Milling on multi-axis machining centres.

Part-programming experience on Hurco CNC is a necessity using Winmax or Ultimax software experience with Edgecam would be an advantage. In addition to being able to work occasional overtime to support the needs of the business.
