Job Profile

As the successful CNC Miller you will be working alongside a team of highly skilled machinists and be required to liaise with various departments depending on the project.

Duties

• Programming, setting and operating a XYZ CNC machining centres
• CNC Milling using 3 axis mills
• Programming using XYZ (training can be provided)
• Some manual machining as required
• Producing old and new components for the company product range
• Producing components from engineering drawings through to completion of final article
• Working with a variety of materials including Stainless Steels, Brass, Aluminium and Plastics

Skills & Experience

• Must have previous programming experience
• of XYZ would be an advantage but training can be provided
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong team player who can who work on their own when required
• Competent in the use of hand-held measuring equipment

Hours

• 39 hrs per week
• 07.00 – 15.30 Monday – Friday
• Lots of overtime available paid at x1.5 hrs
• 25 days holiday
• On-site parking
