Temp to Perm Opportunity
Our client is an established Engineering company based in County Durham who specialise in manufacturing and repairing bespoke items for a range of industries including Offshore, Automotive and Power Generation.
The company is now looking to add a CNC Milling Machinist/Setter/Operator to their team on a temp to permanent basis due to the growth and success of the business. This is an exciting time for a time served CNC Machinist who is looking for their next opportunity.
The Role:
• Manufacture high quality manufactured components
• Programme and set CNC milling and turning machines
• Select tooling and setting in accordance with the order/job card
• Load, edit and save programmes
• Setting and running programmes
• Jig design and manufacture
• New product introduction
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Be time served as CNC Machinist or have a similar experience or qualifications
• Have knowledge in setting and machining fabricated parts and reading engineering drawings
• Understand and have experience of programming and setting Heidenhain or Fanuc Controlled CNC machining centres
• Have the ability to follow business processes and quality check their own work
• Be experienced in using a variety of measuring equipment
• Have a positive attitude to team work and be an excellent communicator
