CNC Machinist

Salary: £15.42 per hour

We are currently working in partnership with a company who work within the precision engineering sector. At present due to rapid growth our client is looking to take on several CNC Machinist with experience of Fanuc controlled machines.

THIS IS PERMANENT AND STABLE EMPLOYMENT.

Key skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities:

* Doosan Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centres

* CNC Experience

* Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings

* Tool changeovers

* Working to tight tolerances

* Hands on and operate machines

* Experience of FANUC control systems

* Experience of Mazatrol & Siemens control systems would be advantageous

Hours of work and Benefit

* 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

* No weekends – Apart from overtime

* £15.42 p/h – £13.75 p/h

* 150% Monday to Saturday & 200% Sunday/Bank Holidays

* Rotating 3 shift pattern

* Weekly pay

* Guaranteed 6 months contract

* 150% Monday to Saturday & 200% Sunday/Bank Holidays

This is a full time contract role and in return you will be offered an excellent salary and a benefits package which includes accrued holidays and pension scheme.

As part of the engineering/manufacturing team you will be a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist. You will be required to programme at the machine interface Will inspect and ensure manufactured components are to drawing and of an acceptable standard, will have a sound knowledge of tooling specifications.

This is a fast-paced environment and can at times be pressurised, however if you are interested in securing a temporary contract role then this is the position for you.
