Claims Advisor

Are you an experienced Insurance Claims Handler looking for a career opportunity with one of the regions most established brokers? Currently we are looking to recruit a forward thinking claims handler to provide the best possible professional and personal claims service to a wide range of clients. The successful candidate will be expected to develop strong relationships with Insurers and other claims service providers to obtain best possible services for clients.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing of daily post and diary within reasonable timescales
• Dealing with customer and Insurer enquiries quickly and efficiently
• Implementation of “fast-track” claims service
• Provision of claims information to Account Executives as requested.
• Provision of claims data to support the Account Executive renewal procedures
• Creation and maintenance of claims records in both paper and computerised formats
• File progress monitoring by use of diary and task bar facilities
• Contributing to the overall performance of the claims team
• Continuous development of product knowledge
• Ensure that workflow is time managed and deadlines met reporting any problems immediately to line manager

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Studying towards or achieved the recognised CII professional qualifications.
• Successful candidates must also be prepared to undertake further in-house career development
