Due to increased growth, we are looking to recruit the following position:-
Part qualified Accountant / Accounts assistant
This is your opportunity to join a growing, independent Chartered Accountancy firm based in Hawick, Scottish Borders. This firm will allow you the chance to work within a supportive team which emphasises continual development.
You will be part of a team responsible for preparing sets of accounts for statutory and management purposes from complete and incomplete records, preparing personal and corporate tax computations as well as reconciliation of accounts. In addition, you will undertake ad hoc projects and be fully involved in all aspects of client affairs.
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have strong accounting skills and be well versed in preparing accounts. Ideally you will have 2 years’ experience working in professional practice in a similar role. Good communication skills are essential and well as good IT skills. Experience of cloud accounting software packages is desirable.
