Today, 10 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK`s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
Position: Challenge Events Manager
Location: Bristol, North Somerset
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £26,000per year
About the role:
They are looking for a pro-active event professional to join their busy team as Challenge Events Fundraising Manager.
With proven knowledge and experience of events management, marketing and recruitment, plus donor care and support, you will assist and maximise the fundraising income and profile of CLIC Sargent from a diverse annual programme of UK and Overseas challenge events.
About you:
will have an excellent track record of managing, marketing, recruiting, planning and delivering successful projects and events in order to hit income and recruitment targets. You will have a strong working knowledge and experience of marketing and promotional methods including online and e-communications, have excellent creative writing skills and confident in using the CARE database.
It`s vital that you`re confident and focused working under pressure, are able to prioritise a heavy workload and demonstrate strong attention to detail and deadlines. You`ll have proven experience of working in a customer focused role within a team environment and also demonstrate excellent relationship building skills.
