Salary: £26,000 per year
Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a local company in bath in the recruitment of an events manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
As an Event Manager, you will be accountable for the co-ordination and delivery of all client bookings in your allocated destinations, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
Key Duties:
* Managing new client bookings from initial enquiry through to completion of event.
* Booking of event venues.
* Liaising with suppliers and gathering cost / quotes for material / venues.
* Altering changing and amendments to events.
* Liaising with customers over the telephone and via email.
* Working closely with the events team to meet targets.
Skills and Experience:
* Excellent Communicator.
* Strong organization skills.
* Interest within the travel industry.
* A team Player.
* Passion for providing excellent customer service.
This is a permanent role with a starting salary of £26,000per year and working Monday to Friday with the occasional on call over the weekend on a rota system.
