The Job Role:

We are thrilled to be representing one of Sheffield’s most highly regarded organisations as they recruit for an Events Manager to join their growing team.

This position is well suited to experienced Events Managers who thrive managing multiple projects as well as attending events on behalf of the organisation.

Our client hosts an array of events from workshops and networking events, through to large scale ceremonies. We are looking to speak to candidates that have varied events experience and possess energy and enthusiasm to inject into the organisations busy event calendar.

This role will be fast paced from day one as our client already has a busy schedule for 2023.

This varied Events Manager role will include the following duties and responsibilities;

• Designing and planning events on behalf of the organisation
• Executing each event on plan and to budget
• Designing sponsorship packages together with the support of the wider team
• Reflecting on each event to ensure events are constantly improving
• Engaging with speakers, event holders, guests, suppliers and partners
• Responsibility for the organisations calendar of events
• Ability to introduce new events to the organisations calendar
• Successfully hitting and exceeding KPI and revenue targets
• Attending networking events on behalf of the organisation
• Actively engage with the local community and partners of the organisation
• Implementing multi-media campaigns for events
• Analysing event data to ensure events are constantly improved year on year
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure that events are profiled and well attended

We are looking to speak to experienced Events Managers who are skilled in the following;

• Experienced delivering world-class events
• Able to increase delegate attendance for each event
• Experienced in planning the entire life-cycle of events
• Confident implementing multi-media campaigns for each event
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to work to strict targets and budgets
• Confident reviewing data from each event to constantly make improvements
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Confident representing the organisation – attending networking and events across the region
• Ability to build strong partnerships with organisations across the region
• Confidence with an excellent attitude
• Knowledge of Sheffield and the surrounding area would be beneficial to the role
• Willingness
• Strong team-player
