The Job:
Our clients are looking for somebody with Catering/Hospitality experience to work as a Learning Support Assistant with students aged 16+, some of whom have SEN Learning Difficulties.
Previous experience in education would be advantageous but is not essential as our client is happy to consider candidates without experience providing you are able to support both the practical and theory side of Hospitality.
The successful candidate will be supporting the students in everything from cooking to front of house duties.
You must have the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students.
The position is for 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), initially on an ongoing temporary basis but with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate.
An immediate start is available. Due to this it would be advantageous but not essential to already have a DBS on the DBS Update Service, however we can do one for you if required.
The School:
Our client is a Further Education provider with a presence in several Colleges. This particular role is to work at their Colchester site.
The Child:
Students at this College are aged 16+ and have a range of learning difficulties and will be studying a range of subjects.
