Care Assistant

We are looking for care assistants to work DAYS or NIGHTS in our prestigious and busy care home located near Dereham in Norfolk.

THE ROLE:
Personal care (washing / dressing / feeding), participating in their daily activities
Build strong and meaningful relationships with the residents and assist them in their activities.

NIGHT SHIFTS ARE 11 HOURS LONG, FROM 8PM TO 7AM.

Prior experience is preferred. Good communication skills essential.
Details:
– Approx 40 bed care home
– £26,000per year salary
– 44 (full time) hours per week with regular overtime available
– weekend work is required
– flexibility to work shift patterns

Experience is very helpful but the most important thing is good communication and an empathy with caring for older people.
