Care Assistant, Residential Care Assistant

Our Client:
Our clients offer person centred support to elderly residents, many of whom suffer Learning disabilities, dementia or mild mental health issues and poses challenging behaviour. The residential homes are set in fantastic settings, many close to public transport links.

The Role:
Currently they are looking to recruit a Care Assistant with at least 2 years experience in Social Care. Ideally you will have experience in dealing with Elderly service users, specifically helping them with keeping active. Some of the service users also have physical disabilities, and can display challenging behaviour. Personal care will be required so please do not apply if you are not prepared to undertake personal care, washing and dressing. You will have a good level of English (written & verbal) skills for report writing.

You will:
* Hold a valid CRB (Conducted in the last 12 months)
* Able to work shifts, morning, evening, night.
