Care Assistant

Care Assistant – The Company:
We are recruiting for several full time Care Assistant with experience and a passion and willingness to train to join this lovely residential care home.

Care Assistant – The Role:
– Assist with the implementation of individual resident care plans
– Undertake routine tasks and activities
– Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities
– Observe and monitor the well being of residents ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and are documented as appropriate
– Develop and maintain a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries

Care Assistant – The Candidate:
– Minimum 6 months experience of working within the care industry
– Ideally NVQ 2 or 3 qualified in Health & Social Care
– Passionate about providing the highest standard of care
– Able to work weekends and nights as and when required

This requires a candidate who is passionate about supporting residents and is serious about their career within social care. Working hours are shift patterns consisting of 3 days of 8am-8pm and 1 day of 8am-2pm including weekend and nights according to the rota.
