CAD Technician

Salary: £36,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and career minded 2D AutoCAD Technician for our Rugby based client they provide life safety product and service solutions.

The key tasks include:

-Liaise with customers to establish drawing protocols for each specific project, submit drawings throughout the project and address comments.

-Liaise with internal / external project managers to produce and update project drawings.

-Produce project handover information and final O&M manuals.

-Assist with the development and administration of a new document control system for the management of incoming and outgoing project information.

2D Specific Tasks

-Create design issue drawings under guidance from the Design Manager.

-Create construction issue drawings under guidance from their internal/external Project Managers.

-Create final record drawings for issuing as part of the final O&M manual submission.

This client invests heavily in personal development and will provide additional training to enable the successful candidate to progress to a 3D CAD/REVIT operator level.

The candidate they are seeking will have some experience of using the latest versions of AutoCAD,

you will have a positive attitude to problem-solving and clear communication skills.
