Salary: £72,000 – £108,000 per year

We are seeking a C# Senior Software Engineer who has excellent experience in the design, implementation, and verification of software as part of a complex electronic system which integrates multiple sub-systems (electro-mechanical, electro-optic, signal processing etc), who is looking for a role which will see you involved in the development of cutting edge technology making a difference to people’s lives. You will be joining a Cambridge based world leading technology development company which are making massive technology advancements in Medical Devices, Biotechnology and Microfluidics.

The Senior C# Software Engineer will be an integral member of the development team leading software engineering and development functions, writing, and delivering software to the highest standard.

Requirements of C# Senior Software Engineer – Biotechnology – Microfluidics
* BSc grade 2.i or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electronics or similar subject
* Skilled in developing software applications and GUIs (preferably in C# and Python in a Windows environment using an object-oriented approach)
* Experienced in design, implementation, and verification of software as part of a complex electronic system which integrates multiple sub-systems (electro-mechanical, electro-optic, signal processing etc)
* Experience in developing software in a commercial regulated software development environment.
* Strong leadership and inter-personal qualities with experience in recruiting and mentoring junior staff
* Experience working on Medical Devices, Biotechnology or Microfluidics beneficial.
* Knowledge of machine vision or image processing to automate instruments (OpenCV) beneficial
* Experience of embedded processors (such as STM32) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays in complex real-time systems beneficial.

Salary: £72,000 – £108,000 + Excellent Bens and bonus
Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid working considered)
Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
