Job Overview

Join our Development team based in our Brighton office, where you will be responsible for leading and executing the Automation Test Strategy and developing, and maintaining a suite of automated test programs and tools. As the Senior Software Test Developer you will work closely with the Development and Test Teams on continuous improvements for future releases, data flow and system functionality.

During the current times you will be working from home, but as and when the role will require you to work in the office on a full time basis.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and documenting of test plans/test cases in preparation for automation
Implement a comprehensive suite of automated tests from specified test cases across both new and existing projects

Lead, plan and implement functional testing for projects including the acquisition and implementation of a suite of software test systems

Lead, plan, and co-ordinate compatibility testing for projects
Lead the creation, execution and updating of test plans and reports

Provide support, mentoring, coaching and direction to members of the Software Test Team and review standard of tests

To take responsibility of maintaining appropriate test environments in response to customer feedback or changes within the operating systems or our owning environment

Lead, create, document, and implement test tools, test frameworks, scripts, and test harnesses
Requirements

Experience in C#, Swift, Java or Kotlin
Advanced knowledge of test creation/documentation and automated test frameworks
Use of automated tools such as: Selenium, Cucumber, Karma, Jasmine, Appium
Experience of Test-Driven Development and delivering software ‘end to end’
Proven experience of automation and automated regression testing
Strong documentation, writing and communication skills
Be an excellent team player and mentor
