C# Asp.net Senior Developer

C# ASP.NET SENIOR DEVELOPER, HIGH WYCOMBE, £45 000

We are a bespoke insurance solutions provider who works with a large range of blue chip organisations. We are looking for a talented ASP.NET Developer to join our IT team, based near High Wycombe.

We are creating agile/xp team building products in C# and Javascript using ASP.NET MVC3/4. We seek candidates proficient in the Microsoft web stack, messaging techniques (MSMQ) and a passion for building great web products.

To be eligible for this opportunity you must have prior experience including:

-3+ years experience implementing web applications with.NET C#.

– Experienced in building “MVC style” web apps (e.g. ASP.NET MVC, Ruby on Rails, Monorail).

– Experience in Entity Framework and ADO.NET.

– Experience with ORMs (especially nHibernate).

– An appreciation and understanding of agile, xp and test driven development (TDD).

– Solid experience of jQuery and JavaScript.

– Understanding of object orientation, SOLID and design patterns and DDD.

– A keen awareness of scalability, caching and running systems “at web scale”.

Responsibilities:

-Working with business analysts to build websites and applications in C# and ASP.NET MVC.

– Unit testing and building code changes to existing products and infrastructure (classic ASP, C# and ASP.NET).

– Rapidly shipping new functionality to production in a continuous delivery focused environment.
