Buyer Services Manager (Automotive Auction / Remarketing)

The Role:

Our clients, a vehicle remarketing company based in West Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Buyer Services Manager to join their growing organisation.

Duties will include:

• Accountable for the branch buyer services and engagement, promoting sales and assisting with marketing campaigns through the use of CRM activity.
• To become a “Market Maker” using your knowledge of buyers to advise them of available stock that might be of interest or placing unsold stock to buyers who may not have been able to attend a physical auction.
• Plan and deliver site marketing plan with alignment to group marketing, policy and annual budget
• Responsible for good quality catalogue production and distribution, auction promotion material, marketing literature, site messages and visual aids
• Responsible for the Internet catalogue and ensuring the branch is correctly represented on the web
• Leading and driving marketing and buyer communication methods to maximise online and physical buyer attendance
• Stock channel management between physical and online where applicable
• To take responsibility for post-sale arbitration.
• Auctioneer Management
• Provisional Sales excellence, overseeing the sale performance, operation and customer service of all provisional sales.
• Develop solid relationships with all clients
• Involvement with the branch’s Seller Advance programme with responsibility for stock re-valuation and stock turnover.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate MUST have experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a company specialising in auction/remarketing. You should also have:

• Experience of motivating Teams
• Proven results/sales track record
• Ability to quickly foster relationships and harness networking opportunities
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills including problem solving skills, conflict resolution and complaint handling
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
• An understanding of HR policies & procedures would be beneficial
